Haha yeah, staying up on world news. I usually talk about it on Friday nights with a VIP student I teach, get his opinions on world issues, etc..
http://www.chinasmack.com/2011/stories/salt-panic-chinese-fearing-japan-radiation-rush-to-buy-salt.html is a funny article pertaining to the Japanese crisis - Millions of Japanese remain calm and orderly during an epic disastor, no looting, etc, then Chinese people panic and cause chaos just to buy salt to protect themselves haha. The Chinese are in many ways funny people like that, backwards in many ways (people goin' to the bathroom anywhere in public, all the spitting, etc..) but are quite advanced and civilized in many other ways. Interesting culture, especially considering the age and history behind it all.
